New direction for my blog

I have come a long way from my very first blog post written in May 2011. The title was called "I Just Want A Blog," and the first line read "I don't have a reason... I just want one!" See what I mean? :) It has been interesting to look back at my first few posts and what was happening in life at those points in time because things have changed a lot for me since then. I am aware that I still have a long way to go until I have created something that I am proud of. 


I have decided that I am more interested in fashion than beauty when it comes to writing about the two topics. A challenge I have set for myself this year is to buy as few clothes as possible and make new clothes for myself. Given this, I'd like to use my blog to share my experiences during this time. 


I still want my blog to contain a variety of different posts. Here are a few posts that I hope to be sharing with you. 

  • Outfits of the day/night featuring clothes I've made or clothes that I already own. 
  • Photos of clothes that I am inspired to make.
  • Photos of daily life and night outings.
  • Chats here and there about what is happening in life and maybe some little rants that I'm sure you'll relate to.

I'd love to hear what you think about your own blogs and what or who has influenced you.

I am off to New South Wales to go surfing for a few days tomorrow. Have a great week everyone.
